Gaitscan

Gaitscan

Gaitscan is a state of the art scanner that helps assess and analyse the biomechanics of your feet. Problems here may cause pain in your feet as well as altering the balance and alignment  of the legs and back. Gaitscan is the best diagnostic tool available for diagnosing and assessing troubled feet.

Where patients are suffering with chronic or unresolved problems in the back, neck or legs, gaitscan may identify problems where traditional methods have failed.

Gaitscan Pronator Sample Gaitscan assesses the foot dynamically as you walk across the mat. The computer displays 2D and 3D images of the foot showing where there is too much or too little pressure. This information can then be printed out and evaluated to determine if the pain you are suffering is related to faulty foot function.

This information is then used to determine if orthotic insoles and/or manipulative therapy will be beneficial in resolving your problem.

When it is determined that orthotic therapy will be beneficial Gaitscan transmits the scan data electronically to the laboratory where custom orthotic insoles are manufactured specifically for you and your feet.
